Hurry up and Wait

Today’s request:  if there is anyplace you think we HAVE to see on our travels, please let us know!

No we haven't left yet -- this is Alameda City Hall.
No we haven’t left yet — this is Alameda City Hall.

We’re in a bit of a holding pattern as we try to sublet.  We’ve had a couple of nibbles, but nothing has panned out.

Subletting makes everything a lot easier for us (and for our cat Angel).  It would be optimal to have a home base to come back to.

If you know of anyone looking to hang in the Bay Area for 3-6 months, let us know!!  Here’s the CL ad: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/sub/5447887247.html

The current plan (as of today) is to contact our landlady tomorrow and talk through options.

In the meantime, we are having a lot of fun letting our imaginations run wild.  So many places to go and see.  I’m unearthing desires to see places I’ve heard about.  I’m finally going to see the Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree.  And Carlsbad Caverns, and Monticello.  This game is so much fun, we’d love for you to join in.

Again, our  working itinerary is: Joshua Tree, Mesa, AZ, Sante Fe, NM, Austin, TX, NOLA, central FL, Atlanta (maybe), Charleston, SC, Raleigh, NC, Charlottesville, VA, Washington DC, NYC, Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL, Appleton, WI, Rapid City, SD, Boise, ID, and Eugene, OR.

Historic, kitchy, natural beauty, some person you know that we should meet (or should meet us)?  Do tell.
